The Bentley Mulliner Batur that debuted last month is much more than a limited edition special based on the Continental GT. The most powerful model in Bentley’s history introduced a new design language to the brand, which will be adopted by its future EV range. Independent digital artist Theottle took inspiration from the Batur and envisioned the next generation of the Bentayga SUV.
It’s not as easy as it sounds, but anything is possible with a touch of Photoshop magic. Theottle used the Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure as the basis for his digital concept, with the stretched wheelbase helping the proportions.

The process began by adding the face of the Batur to the luxury SUV. A set of single LED headlights replaced the double round arrangement that was a signature element of both generations of the Bentayga, perhaps with excessive dimensions. On the contrary, the larger grille and smaller bumper intakes are welcome updates.
Moving on to the profile, it’s much more sculpted than before, using Batur’s lines and cleaner surfaces – especially on the front fenders – while integrating the Bentayga’s bulging rear fenders. The Batur’s window line with chrome accents is also present, forming a simpler C-pillar.
The new LED taillights, which have been relocated at the rear, have been adapted to the shape and size of the Bentayga, with a sculpted tailgate and a large black section on the rear bumper that resembles a diffuser and brightens the rear. Theottle kept the twin tailpipes, proving that he envisions the next Bentayga with an internal combustion engine under the hood.
The first generation of the Bentayga was introduced in 2015 as a production version of the radical EXP 9 F concept from 2012. An extensive facelift followed in 2020, which served as the basis for the Bentayga EWB variant with extended wheelbase. If Bentley maintains its SUV’s five-year cycle, we could see the next-gen model in 2025.
According to the latest reports, Bentley’s first EV to arrive around that date based on the Artemis architecture will not adopt a crossover body style, leaving all scenarios open for Bentayga’s successor. Still, Bentley has made it clear that the W12 6.0-litre engine’s days are numbered, so it’s likely that it will be replaced by an electrified powertrain in the future Bentayga Speed, while lesser versions could also get electrification.
