Peugeot has made a number of significant practical upgrades to the 2023 e-208, giving the big-selling small electric car a horsepower boost and a useful improvement in electric range.

That is an improvement of 38 km compared to last year’s car, whose range had already been extended to 362 km by the end of 2021. When the e-208 first appeared in late 2019, it was only rated for 211 miles (340 km).
The 2023 inherits the other benefits introduced for 2022, including a heat pump combined with a windscreen humidity sensor that helps maintain charge when using the climate control system, low rolling resistance tires and a revised transmission ratio. A 7.4 kW charger is standard, a three-phase 11 kW version is optional and the fairly fast 100 kW charging capacity allows the e-208’s battery to be filled from 20-80 percent in 25 minutes using a public Charger.
