2019 Roush ‘Old Crow’ Ford Mustang GT honors WWII flying ace

To go along with the D-Day commemorations, Roush Performance has teased the latest one-off creation. It is a 2019 Mustang called "Old Crow", and it is a tribute to Buddy & # 39; s triple ace Bud Anderson. He flew P-51 Mustang hunters with the same name as this new Mustang.

However, the car still has to be fully revealed. In the meantime we get a taste of the Mustang on the road and his flying inspiration. The nose will have the red and yellow controls on the nose along with a matte black cap. The rest of the car is silver and probably has logos from the US Air Force here and there. The tail probably has a bright red accent somewhere near the aircraft.

Like a number of Roush projects from the aviation industry, this Mustang will be auctioned for charity. Just like previous cars, the proceeds will go to the young pilot programs of the Experimental Aircraft Association. There is a good chance that this car can bring six figures to charity. The auction takes place on July 25 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and the completed car will probably be shown just before that.
