The automaker said that the 2012 to 2018 model year Ford Focus car with 2.0-liter GDI and 2.0-liter GTDI engines recalls for a defective valve that could result in inaccurate fuel level values ​​and possible engine stalls or an inability to re-vehicle. to start.

Ford said it is not aware of any crashes due to this condition, but that owners must maintain at least half a tank of fuel until the recall is completed.
