This is the Adventure 1, an electric off-road recreational vehicle, as described by Potential Motors, which, sorry for the pun, has a lot potential.
The size and shape of the Adventure 1 may be the first thing that intrigues you. It’s only 64-inches wide, pretty typical of a traditional side-by-side recreational ride, something Potential Motors notes, giving it access to ATV trails typically inaccessible to trucks and SUVs. It is 178 inches long and has a wheelbase of 105 inches.

The Adventure 1 bus shape lends itself well to off-road riding and allows for a 40-degree approach, a 45-degree departure and a 29-degree break-off angle. Potential Motors has also outfitted it with plenty of parts to protect it, including a front skid plate, front winch and rugged body guard. It also has independent suspension that the automaker says can climb rocks and bumps with ease.
In case you hadn’t guessed, the Adventure 1 is all-electric and features a pair of motors that combine to produce 604 horsepower and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. Potential Motors claims to have an off-road range of 160 km thanks to the 70 kWh battery pack. It is not yet known how fast this battery can be charged.
A look inside the cabin shows that this is truly a go-anywhere vehicle and could be perfect for longer trips into the wilderness. It even features an integrated full size bed that can comfortably sleep 2. There is also an integrated modular kitchen that pulls out seamlessly from the rear of the vehicle and includes a 2 burner propane stove, refrigerator, kitchen accessories, water, and a washingtable. There is also over 2,500 liters (88 cubic feet) of indoor dry storage and 40 liters (1.4 cubic feet) of water storage.
Potential Motors plans to sell the Adventure 1 for $136,000 and only plans to ever produce it in limited numbers.
