Japanese tuner Mugen is known for creating some of Honda's coolest versions, and for developing performance components that offer a tangible difference. The company has even worked hand in hand with Honda before developing production cars such as the rare 2008 Mugen Si. We love creations like that, but this specific Civic Type R concept car is a little harder to swallow.
Mugen calls it the RC20GT, and it is based on the current Type R. Yes, there are performance improvements, but we have to talk about the appearance that has to begin. Many people will never give the normal Type R at the time of the day because of the wild, race car design that Honda imposed on him. If we look at this, we can not say that it is a big improvement. The grille is much, much worse. The sides of the front bumper look like eight different people drawing lines in turn. However, all the fake air vents? Away.
