BMW X2 is a subcompact crossover with a nice drive-drive, so it makes sense that AC Schnitzer makes it an even more performance-oriented version. The X2 looks sportier than most of its competitors, but AC Schnitzer turns the dial a bit more with its add-ons.
To begin with, springy springs lower about an inch and do a great deal of removing part of the hatchback-on-peg feeling of the car. It looks even more like a normal hatchback – if you replaced the plastic upholstery with colored parts, it might not look like a cross-over. There is a new front apron and splitter, which contributes even more to the downed look. AC Schnitzer says that the splitter in combination with the larger rear spoiler produces real downforce, so it's not just for the looks.
Wheels made by AC Schnitzer are supplied in 19-inch or 20-inch packages. There are also a number of different tire sizes available, one with 225 mm wide rubber, but the one you want is the 245. That's a good piece of rubber for a small car like the X2. Although AC Schnitzer does not offer a complete exhaust exhaust system, you get a choice of chrome or black exhaust tips.
Unfortunately, for the time being, the US can not benefit from the tuning of AC Schnitzer's engine because the tuner has only worked to upgrade the European diesel engine. It goes from 190 hp to 222. The interior gets here and there a few extra aluminum bits, but nothing more. AC Schnitzer pays its normal guarantee for all upgrades offered here.
