One of the big advantages of the era of turbo Honda's is that enough power and torque remains on the table so that tuners can benefit. One of those companies is Hondata, and after the upgrades for the Civic and Accord it is now tuning the Acura RDX luxury crossover.
The RDX uses a 2.0-liter 2.0-liter turbo engine that is similar to that of the Accord and the Civic Type R. In the form of a stock makes this 272 horsepower and 280 pound-foot torque. With Hondata & # 39; s Stage 1-tune, the company says the power increases by about 10 in the entire speed range. Peak power seems to be about 10 over the stock, but the middle class sees an increase of 28 hp. Peak torque sees a huge jump of about 45 lb-ft over the stock based on the dyno card and is even lower available than the maximum torque of the Stage 1.
