$1.2 million Mercedes-AMG G63 can stop bullets

The standard Mercedes-Benz G-Class feels almost indestructible. From the weight of the doors to the sturdy ride, the whole feels like it has been cut from a solid piece of steel. Yet we do not know for sure if it could stop bullets. That's where upfitters like Canadas Inkas come in, with its $ 1.2 million armored and stretched G63. We assume that a normal armored G-Class or S-Class was not spacious enough.

This G-Wagen is listed as a limousine on the Inkas site. The 172.2-inch wheelbase is 60 inches longer than a standard G63. Its armor is resistant to 7.62 mm balls or an explosion of a grenade. Based on the video, it seems as if there are red and blue lights on the outside. The wheelbase can be detrimental to the piercing angle of the G-Wagen, but thanks to the ground clearance, the four-wheel drive system and the beautiful 5.5-liter V8 with dual turbo, he is still able to escape on or off the road. We are sure that it needs the grunt to move an SUV that probably has the mass of a dying star.

As with most of these high-end armored vehicles, the upgrades go far beyond just some extra plating and ballistic glass. The interior looks like a small, high-end theater thanks to the 4K Ultra HD television and Apple TV. The adjustable seats are equipped with Alcantara and the bar under the TV has a chiller. The lights in the sky are adjustable and meant to simulate real sunlight. Customers can also do optional things such as a customized audio system.
