Jeep Performance Parts shows off two new Easter Safari builds

Posted on

In addition to its complete concept cars and some builds from past SEMA and Easter Safari events, Jeep is bringing two showcase builds that have been adapted exclusively from Mopar’s Jeep Performance Parts catalog. Do not worry; even in this crowd, Jeep managed to make its new JPP show cars stand out.

D-coder concept

Jeep Performance Parts wanted to make it super easy for avid owners and fans to browse the parts catalog, and what better way to see what a part will look like on the finished product than by actually displaying it that way? The D-Coder does just that, and you’ll find each of the 35 JPP-specific parts painted in a matching Maraschino Red and labeled with a QR code that leads directly to the part’s online catalog listing. That’s a smart marketing tool.

Birdcage concept

Jeep says the Birdcage is built to be a “wide-open-air extreme 4×4 machine.” That’s not really saying much, but this 4xe-based Wrangler has quite a bit to do. The 2-inch lift kit includes Fox shocks and is specially tuned for the 4xe (which doesn’t have an Xtreme Recon packageā€¦at least not yet) that allows it to clear 37-inch tires. Birdcage also comes equipped with custom skid plates, beadlock-ready wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KM3s and a custom trunk designed to keep personal items safe with the top removed.
