2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV teased in LT trim

Posted on

Chevy already gave us a glimpse of the exterior and interior of the upcoming Equinox EV, but now we get to see the inside again in video form and exclusively in its LT trim. It looks like it might be the blue, white and black interior shown in the first renderings, but these shots look a little more final/defined than that one. The dash looks a lot more sculpted with a few tiers/levels, and we can see the ambient lighting in action.

A video just posted to Chevy’s YouTube page does the job, as it’s essentially just 30 seconds of footage, showing different angles and parts of the interior. The key shot shows most of the dashboard where we can view the screens, center console, steering wheel, lights and more. The main infotainment screen is quite large and it looks like a copy of the large touchscreen in the Silverado EV. It even has the volume rocker in the same top left corner. Below the screen are your vents and a few physical buttons/buttons that appear to be the climate control.

Under the climate control we see a mat for wireless charging of telephones. This continues into the center console, which features a pair of cup holders. The mood lighting on both the door and dashboard is quickly displayed in both white and blue. And the last piece of technology that stands out is the large digital cluster behind the wheel. On one side we see a power meter and on the other side a battery status indicator. However, no range readout is visible in Chevy’s teaser video.

Other small details we’ll point out are the pivoting side vents and the large storage space under the center console. The lack of a transmission tunnel should mean that the electric Equinox is much more useful than the petrol version, leaving a ton of extra space to store your personal belongings.

As of now, the Equinox EV RS is scheduled to be available in fall 2023. However, Chevy has not set a date for the launch of the LT model shown here.
